Secure PDF

Secure PDF supports ETSI compliant e-signature and X.509 Certificate based encryption for multiple PDF files in a directory. It requires a cryptographic device which has a PKCS11 programming interface (such as smart cards, USB tokens, HSMs, etc.) for signature process.

Features

Bulk PDF File Signing/Encryption

To sign large number of pdf files, user selects a source and a target directory. The bulk signing is performed on the files in source directory including its subdirectories. Optionally the PDF files can be X.509 certificate based encrypted for the selected recipients.

Multiple Signature

PDF file can include either one or two signature. Representative images of the signatures can be placed on PDF file at any position that user chooses.

Timestamp Support

RFC 3161 compliant timestamp can be added to signature, so that the creation time of a file can be proven.

Keyword Filtering

User enters the keyword and chooses target directory. The searching operation is carried out for the specified keyword and signing operation is performed only on the PDF files matching the keyword.

HSM and Smartcard Support

Any HSM and smartcard with PKCS11 interface can be used as a e-signature tool.

Logging with Configuration File

The results of PDF signing operations, error logs, and application logs are saved. The logging mechanism can be configured by configuration files. Event Viewer, text files, and database logging are supported.
