2. Running the Applet

After the preparaton steps explained in Introduction, “main.jsp” is opened. This page is the mainpage for the web interface and does not include any graphical component. This method is used in order to prevent the applet from getting affected by the page refreshes. Other pages are embedded in this page as iframe.</description>

1. Introduction

As mentioned in Applet Design  the applet mainly consists of two parts one of which is the server code to be used for applet communication. You can think of this server as the system to be logged in. 

First of all, you have to deploy the codes in a server which can interpret JAVA and call the page main.jsp. main.jsp , as understood from the code,  loads the applet.</description>

4. Signature Creation

3. Login

In the section Running the Applet, the applet read the certificates from smartcard and filled into an HTML form. Now, the use must select the certificate, enter the PIN for the smartcard containing that certificate and press “Enter”.</description>
