Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) is the general name of the comprehensive software that brings the processes of producing, delivering, signing, archiving and disposing of corporate documents into the electronic environment.
As required by the Prime Ministry Circular No. 2006/13 on Procedures and Principles for Public Certification Services, it is obligatory that the compliance of the digital and/or mobile signature applications of the public institutions requesting the Qualified Certificate from Kamu SM should be assessed by Kamu SM in accordance with the international technical standards in the electronic signature legislation.
The Digital Signature Conformity Assessment of the EDMS software of the public institutions and organizations consists of checking the compliance of the digital signature mechanism of the EDMS software with the international standards.
It is highly recommended that the signed document format created by the digital signature application should be ETSI TS 101 733 CAdES X-Long, ETSI TS 101 903 XAdES X-Long Type 1 or ETSI TS 103 172 PAdES LT-Level.
