CADES (CMS Advanced Electronic Signature) is a CMS-based signature format defined in the ETSI 101 733 standard. CAdES signature is examined under two main sections.
In this structure, the content is separate from the signature. Usually this method is used to sign big files.
In the ETSI TS 101 733, 10 types of signature formats have been defined, such as BES, EPES, ES-T, ES-X Long, ES-X Type 1, ES-X Type 2, ES-X Long Type 1, ES-X Long Type 2 and ES-A.
